Appreciate your interest in the Vets2Trails therapeutic mountain bike initiative!

Semper Fi Fund donated nearly $10k worth of bikes, gear, and equipment to help us get this effort up and running. Over 20 recovering service members have participated in the program since January when we received the bikes and started riding at the Balboa Trail system next to Medical Center San Diego. If you want to volunteer or ride with us, please drop me a line at justin.s.campbell.phd@gmail.com!

On August 09, 2014, I will be riding in the Leadville Trail 100 MTB race to raise funds for Semper Fi Fund, in part to repay SFF for their generosity, but also to raise awareness for Vets2Trails and the role that mountain biking or hiking can play in self-guided recovery from the hidden wounds of war.

The Leadville Trail 100 web-site: http://www.leadvilleraceseries.com/mtb/leadvilletrail100mtb/

Stay tuned for more details and training updates.

Thank you!

Very respectfully, Justin

The Organization:

Semper Fi Fund

The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. We direct urgently needed resources to post 9-11 Marines and Sailors, as well as members of the Army, Air Force or Coast Guard who serve in support of Marine forces. The Semper Fi Fund (SFF) provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs.
