Tally-Ho!
Update #3 • Posted 2239 day(s) ago
Warm, rainy, windy, and plenty of rolling hills - but great fun and lots faster than I predicted after training through the winter here in New England. Best part: passing young paratroopers and Marines. Worst part: no beer at the finish line - I mean, this IS the home of FSU - what happened?

Cold, damp, but the drizzle stopped and we had a good run over a challening course with plenty of uphills to check your pulse, and downhills to challenge your knees. 3:58:35.
Worst part of the day: Alarm not adjusted for clocks, so up at 03.30
Second worst part of the day: driving 120 miles back after running and a crash in the Ted Williams tunnel.
If those are the two worst things in your day, you're having a great day.
Best part of the day: Seeing Bob Durkin and his family afterwords - the beer and calzone were great - thanks!

New England's Last Marathon of the Year - Manchester
Update #1 • Posted 3070 day(s) ago
Enjoy your Halloween - I am off way (too) early to drive up to Manchester and do my second marathon in three weeks. Thank you very much to those who have been so generous to give to our wounded Marines and the Semper Fi Support through Sport program.
Semper Fi,
