Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Semper Fi Fund!   This is my way to support our injured and critically ill service members and their families.

WHEN:  February 23rd, 8am to collapse
WHERE: Lady Bird Hike and Bike Trail; camp set up in Zilker by Lou Neff Point
HOW:  Text your pledge (per mile) to 512 619 8833 before Feb. 23rd.  Be sure to include your name in the text!  After the run I'll let everyone know how far I made it and then you can donate using this webpage.

Friends and family have asked, "what do you want to do for your 40th birthday?"  I decided while jogging and thinking about this question. I hope that everyone participates with me.   I want two things wrapped up into one event. First, a gesture of defiance to the BIG 40. Second, a gesture of gratitude.  On February 23rd, I will be at Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail here in Austin and I'm going to run.  I'm going to run until I can't run anymore.  I'm going to do it for me and I'm going to do it for those that have made my 40 years possible, our veterans.  For those that have sacrified their bodies, their minds and their families to ensure my family is safe.  For my dad, my wife's grandfather and friends that served.

I want everyone out there to decide how much you want to give for every mile I run. The most I have run at one time in the last two years is 8 miles and I have not trained for this other than jogging 15 to 20 miles a week.  Let's see how these old knees hold up!

Friends and family should come down to the trail and run with me.  Those that don't want to run can camp out on the Zilker lawn and wave on each lap.  You'll find us in Zilker at Lou Neff Point.  We will make a little bit of difference for a few wounded veterans.  Please join me, come on, its my 40th birthday!

Your donation will be helping me me give back to our Heroes whom have given so much. Thanks so much for your support and please don't forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!

The Organization:

Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund

The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. We direct urgently needed resources to post 9-11 Marines and Sailors, as well as members of the Army, Air Force or Coast Guard who serve in support of Marine forces. The Semper Fi Fund (SFF) provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs.
